Community Legal Education Ontario is a community legal clinic that produces clear language material for people with low incomes. Main topics include social assistance, landlord and tenant law, refugee and immigration law, workers' compensation, women's issues, family law, employment insurance and human rights. It has links to provide information that is connected to the work that CLEO does.
The Dam Youth Drop-in is a community program for youth ages 13 to 19. The drop-in is named "The Dam" because it believes that the drop-in is a dam that stops the flow of teens from running away and becoming homeless street youth downtown. It is a preventative program with their goal to be the friends of youth and help them to stay at home, in school and in the community. Additional programs at The Dam include: housing program for youth; Affinity is a program for pregnant teens & young moms; two alternative education programs.
