Eden Community Food Bank is a non-denominational, charitable organization, working to eliminate hunger through food distribution to qualified individuals and families living in selected areas of Mississauga, as well as providing education and advocacy services to our clients and the general public.
We make all efforts to provide healthy, balanced food choices and to the extent possible based on constraints of product availability, provide choices that meet various cultural and dietary requirements. We also strive to provide basic need items, like personal care and hygiene products.

Holiday Request Letter
Give the gift of food to a hungry family this holiday season. Please read our letter and consider making a much-needed financial donation to the food bank at the end of the year. To make a donation on-line, go to our Canada Helps page.
Winter Food Drive
Please join us in collecting much-needed food for hungry families in our community. This year’s goal is to collect 50,000 pounds of food! We can help support your school or workplace food drive. Call or e-mail us and we will send you a current food needs list so everyone knows what food items to donate and a poster you can edit with your food drive details and post to encourage everyone to participate. Call to arrange a drop off or a pick-up of your collected food.
Toonie Tuesday
Toonie Tuesday was on Tuesday, November 15th. Close to 40 schools in our service participated in this year’s fundraising effort. When all the toonies are counted, we hope to raise up to $15,000!
